Innovator Award Nominations
The Innovator Award celebrates those visionaries and trailblazers who have broken new ground in the use of marketing and communications to generate positive and lasting impact in the field of healthcare.
Eligibility
- Individuals who are currently making a meaningful difference in the healthcare marketing and communications industry.
- Individuals whose powerful skills, talents, and passions are transforming the status quo.
- Only MAHF members are allowed to submit nominations.
- Each MAHF member can nominate only one person.
- Self-nominations are not permitted.
Key Judging Criteria
- Authentic newness: The innovation must employ a genuinely novel idea, approach, or solution that represents a significant advance over existing methods or technologies.
- Durable Impact: The innovation must deliver a measurably positive and lasting effect on healthcare attitudes and behaviors.
- Technical Integrity: The innovation must be exceedingly well-designed and tested and be flawlessly deployable in real-world settings.
- Usability and scalability: The innovation should create a seamless user experience that can be translated into larger audiences and extended time frames. This includes consideration of resource requirements, environmental impact, and adaptability to different contexts.
- Courage and leadership: The nominee will have demonstrated boldness and persistence in developing the innovation—whether through risk-taking, challenging norms, or pushing clients, colleagues, or the industry forward.
- Alignment with MAHF values: Advances the mission of the MAHF by elevating the role and reputation of healthcare communications.
