The MAHF was founded in 1996 by the then leading healthcare ad agencies to preserve the history of the medical advertising industry and honor those who founded and built it. The primary activity, which continues today, is our Annual Awards Dinner, where inductees were honored.
As the organization expanded, so did its mission. In 2012, we added the Future Famer Award. These are young executives designated by our members that are destined to make an impact on the industry.
We also have added Heritage Awards, recognizing creative excellence in past advertising and Digital Pioneer Awards recognizing pioneering work in digital communication.
