Early champions leveraged these tools with creativity and ambition. From dedicated digital divisions to immersive campaigns, the industry evolved — and so did the way we tell stories.

In 2016, as the 20th anniversary of The Hall (formerly MAHF) approached, we introduced the Digital Pioneer Award — to honor the teams and programs that paved the way for digital healthcare communications.

While the era of digital innovation is now standard, the spirit of original thinking remains ever-vital. As we move forward, we recognize those who continue to push the envelope, forging what’s next for healthcare marketing.

The Digital Pioneer Award was created to honor the teams that broke new ground in digital healthcare communications. As digital has evolved from pioneering to essential, The Hall has decided to retire this award. In its place, we are proud to introduce the Innovator Award, which will recognize individuals whose vision and creativity are driving the next era of innovation in our industry.
