Inductee Nominations
Any member of the medical advertising industry may nominate an individual for induction into the Medical Advertising Hall of Fame. Potential inductees must meet the criteria stated on the nomination page, and will be judged by the membership of the MAHF for their impact on and contribution to the industry.
As long as your candidate is retired from this business, anybody who made a significant impact on Medical Advertising can be nominated: A creative genius, a publishing prodigy, a media mogul, an account guru, a branding star. For more detailed criteria on how candidates are selected and judged, refer to the Nominating Criteria below.
Nominees to the Medical Advertising Hall of Fame are judged on the following criteria:
- The candidate’s achievement as evidenced by impact on brand and corporate success, leadership of his or her company, accomplishments in the creative, marketing, or research disciplines, and innovations in the advertising process or structure.
- The contributions the candidate has made to enhance the reputation of the medical advertising industry through voluntary efforts outside his or her company.
- The candidate is committed to advancing practices that strengthen workplace culture, foster collaboration, and support talent retention. By championing fairness, inclusion, and belonging, they aim to help create an environment where people at every level can thrive and contribute their best work.
- The nominee’s record of advertising and service must have been accomplished in the advertising industry in the United States, or with an American company abroad. The candidate must have completed his or her primary career. The council of judges shall consider the election of either living or deceased persons.
The Hall Board reviews the nominations and, based on a majority vote, certifies who has been elected based on the nominee’s cumulative score on a 1-to-10 scale.
Nominations are due September 15th and presented to the board at our Fall general meeting.
