Nominating Criteria:

Each member agency may submit one nominee. If you have multiple, independent operating divisions, you may submit one additional nominee for each division. Award recipients should be in medical advertising for five years or less (generally 30 years old or younger) and have made a significant contribution to your agency (using your agency’s internal KPIs to measure). The candidates we are seeking are those who demonstrate qualities that are in line with the MAHF mission:
  • To represent and communicate the value of the healthcare communication industry and the role we play in helping practitioners provide, and patients receive, better healthcare.
  • To enhance awareness and support the value of diversity, equity and inclusion throughout our industry -- and in the work we create for our clients -- through purposeful actions in our staff and our workplace.
  • The ability and willingness to serve as a culture keeper for the MAHF mission and goals. Serve as a partner to past Future Famers and mentor to the next class.
  • The desire to join in celebrating those of the present and leaders of the future who embody the highest standards and goals of healthcare communications.
Future Famer’s responsibilities will include:
  • Be an ambassador for the industry to the next generation of recruits
  • Volunteer for MAHF social media takeover for one month to spread the mission of the MAHF and its constituents
  • Active participation in choosing a speaker for the annual Awards Dinner
